When I meet a bride for her makeup trial we always talk about the vendors that they are using. I have heard a lot of reasons why people choose vendors, but this week one reason in particular made me giggle.
Bride-to-be, Julie told me that her mother absolutely insisted on hiring a wedding planner. I looked at her puzzled by her mother's strong request, and Julie said "My mother forgot the challah for my bat mitzah and has been scarred ever since. She wants to be sure that there is someone else to remember all the little stuff this time!"
That was my thought,too.
