I just added an interview with Danny Weiss to my "Ask the Expert" section which has some great advice for the bride/groom. Danny is one of my favorite photographers in talent and personality - I couldn't wait to interview him for this section. Danny and I share a background in acting and I feel that we are both always looking for the story to tell. His photos capture real moments but most importantly they are real moments where the bride looks Gorgeous! I am always looking through my bride's photo galleries with the hopes of finding a beautiful photo to showcase my work. I feel a common mistake is that the bride chooses not to have the photographer around during her getting ready process. I see the most beautiful shots of women during this time doing simple, non posy things like having their makeup done (no, not at the beginning before the "magic happens" silly) or putting on the earrings or veil or shoes. Danny is one of those photographers that always gets those shots. He uses the natural light in a way that rivals sophisticated studio lighting and retouching! Check out his website at www.dannyweissphoto.com and make sure to look through his blog.

I fully agree that brides only lose by not letting the wedding photographers around them during the getting ready process. I must admit though that your friend- photographer is AMAZING. Do you know about anyone as good as him but located in Chicago? thanks is advance
